Technical fuel injector

does anyone know where to get a new single point fuel injector? :bang:I took the car to paul (motormech) because i've got fuel coming up in to the air filter, at first we thought it was just the throttle body seal, changed that no good, then we thought it was the injector vent was blocked so cleaned it out no change, then paul tuned the engine after i had me tensioners changed but supprise, supprise still no good so now it looks like the injector its self has gone so does it mean an expensive job, does anyone know where i can get it done and roughly what sort of price am i looking at?

complete throttle bodies often up for sale in the classified and ebay for £10-£15 try and get a punto 60 one

That's probably the easiest and cheapest way. Alternatively, injectors can be ultrasonically cleaned and tested or even taken out and cleaned with carb cleaner.

Here for example. but yellow pages will throw up somewhere more local. Swapping out the TB will be cheaper, though!

Can't really say. If you've effectively got a fuel leak, I wouldn't!

I got a single point injector from a scrapyard last year. Easy job to change. If you go to a scrappy - check that the numbers on the injector match yours (they are on the side of the orange part).
