Technical Fuel Gauge Fault ?

On My 2007 Ducato the fuel gauge is not moving..it may be a coincidence but I recently had to change the fuel filter housing and it seems it stopped working thereafter. Before I strip out the dash does anyone have any ideas ? Thx

When you say "fuel filter housing" do you mean the service item under the bonnet or the one in the fuel tank which houses the low pressure fuel pump in many cases and also the float assembly for the fuel gauge.
Incidentally either way usually the first port of call is the tank unit.

I'd also be saying sender unit first to check, rather than the gauge itself

Hi..yea, I was referring to the fuel filter housing under the bonnet. Thanks for the advice re the sender unit, I have checked the connections but now looks like I need to lift the unit.
