fu**kin marea console

just received my marea console 2day got all heating pipes etc but rear bracket is missing, rear vent is broke and handbrake gaitor is ripped in two places. can u fit it without the rear bracket or wat do i have to do to make it fit? i have mk1 bravo?

Without the rear bracket i'm sure it will bob around, in the modifying guides there a guide on how to make a bracket yourself.

yer spose ive emailed him bk asking for all the above parts as he has lotsa mareas thing is hes taken like 6 weeks to send it so i am pretty annoyed as u can imagine. its in good conditon apart from them lil bits but i know u can get spares but it aint the point.

6 Weeks! Thats well shoddy practise, if it was from ebay and you dont get parts to replace the damaged ones then you should leave him feedback to reflect his attitude. Keep pestering him for the bits though.

well it was through ebay he said marea breaking email for parts, he has been pretty good so far cus i thought i got conned as i paid straight up and i said i need the bracket which is bolted to the chassis n he said yer i will give u everything, now i just gotta fit it . i will sent him 3 emails 2nite n i only got it earlier kept telling him wat was wrong/missing. hopefully he will send um me . if not need all of the above.

Rear bracket doesn't matter that much - mine was fitted for 4 weeks without one and now i have had one fitted it's no different really

as for the leather gatior - get that replaced!

what bout the rear vent then? how much are gaitors then i mite aswell get both handbrake and gearknob then.

i wouldn't be looking to buy - i'd be telling the place you bought it from to suply them - in less than 6 weeks too. not sure about rear vents tho

hes mailed me bk and hes gunna get me the bracket and he says all the consoles hes got the vents r missing, gaitor i think hes gunna supply me with.

mine still doesn't have a rear bracket. it moves a little, but not enough that i ever bothered to fabricate a wee bracket of my own.

oh rite buzz in that case i wont worri bout it then. i need a gaitor then really n a rear vent as there both broke .
