OK, before I let rip, put your Multipla guns down, I've still got 2 of em. :worship:
I couldn't resist this - no fool like an old fool...
If this saga makes you smile, you'll know how I feel about it.
I've taken on a 2007 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, it's 2.0L diesel auto/manual.
It's a 7 seater which fold flat, so it's got it's usefulness when I need some space. When I first got it I sat in the pilots seat and had a look around - it's got electric everything, I've never seem so many toys in one place, looks like I have my own aeroplane cockpit. I thought ok, I might need to have a butchers at the dummies book.
It took me a cup of tea and a fag to read the destruction book just to start it!
Neutral - check, footbrake - check, key, turn and away it goes - nearly...
Having started it, I couldn't find the bloody handbrake - back to the book, ahhh, there you go, it ain't got one!
Well, not one you pull up or let down - no, it's dafter than that - select auto, press go pedal and handbrake lets itself off - who'da thunk it?
Ok, we're moving and it's starting to get dark, the bloody headlights turned themselves on and also off when light enough - it started raining and the windscreen wipers kicked up on their own - this heaps got a mind of it's own!
It's a very comfortable shed to drive - it's air suspension is like floating - the autobox is very smooth and there's plenty of get up and go, it apparently does about 50mpg but I'll have to confirm that.
This car has electric roof, auto air conditioning and climate control in both front and back, flappy paddle manual gearbox - which works beautifully and you can switch between auto and manual at any time, there's a button for everything you can imagine, from adjusting the front seats to the radio, aircon, mirrors, including the bloody handbrake, which comes on itself if you switch off the engine with your foot on the brake.
From what I have seen so far it looks like being a keeper. All the electric's do what they're supposed to and it a nice car to drive.
God knows what I'll do if the electrics pack up - mind you a gallon of juice an a match don't cost much do they?
Any thoughts?
George
