I agree with Al; if you're at work and you shouldn't be surfing car sites all day (or whatever you look at whilst being paid to do something else), then you can hardly say that people's signatures are making you look unprofessional. There's only one person doing that and that's yourself !!

Rob - If we're at work and on our break, then we can look at what be like, but what we're trying to say is, that we're going onto this site and it's starting to look a bit trashy.

My little sister whos 13 goes on a forum and she has about 3 or signatures on the bottom of her name.

Don't you think it's a bit childish?

No, Chris, I don't.

There are far "trashier" looking car sites, with huge, f**k off signatures all over the place. They are very annoying. Most on here keep it small and simple.

We're not trying to impose a rule here, just to ask those that went overboard with size to keep it small and simple for the sake of page width where people with lower resolutions were being caused major problems.

I dont complain about flash slideshows but the pages dont scroll smooth to me if they have multiple flash slideshows.

Your signature has dropped three blocks worth now. I know it's usually only two but ya know....

Haven't got anything against signatures, as some are tasteful but you should be able to see where we're coming from.

I have to agree with Rob. There are trashier sites with big massive sigs and it looks sh*te.

One suggestion would be to keep signatures to one per person (Rob ), and to keep the sizing to an appropiate level.

I also think this thread is going way over board with what Rob posted it up for in the first place and in doing so think it should be locked, due to the fact that no one will ever agree and it is going no where.

But thats just my opinion
