General Ford alloys

Thing is, I'm buying some wolfrace street octane from halfords. And they said, instead of ordering a set they had some in store, on 4x100 in a ford offset and they reckon it'll be fine with wobbly bolts.

But from what I've read punto's are -40ET and fords are something like +38ET. If this is right, am I gonna end with wheels that stick out of the arches? They are 15s if that helps.

If they won't fit I can just take them back I suppose, but I'm picking them up tomorrow and don't want to get too excited if I know they won't fit.

Plus, I didn't see any weights on the wheels so am I right in assuming that they'll need balancing before fitting?

order them in mate. If you insist on going to halfruads. If they the wrong offset mate they are gonna chuck a load of **** up the side of your car.

Thanks for that AppleSei but it doesn't really help me. The wheels are 4x100, which I know will fit my punto with wobblys, it's the offset that concerns me.

Andy, I would have never considered getting anything from halfrauds but I'm getting a 15% discount on these, so they are cheaper than anywhere else (for once).

Cancelled all that halfrauds rubbish. Found some perfect 16" wheels:
