While I know the history of this car and the level of originality and how it was found, as it was discussed in length on this forum, I am confused at such a high price. Thats not to say there isn't someone out their that might buy such an original car for strong money, but your average Punto GT is selling for around £3,000, - £5,000 right now, poor ones are ~£1000 - £2000 and this represents a considerable increase over and above what these cars are selling for right now, even ones in good condition owned by enthusiasts.

Also confused as to why I can't see the car appearing anywhere else forsale? sellers choice I appreciate but if you want to sell it, it does help to have it advertised in places where people might be looking. On hear people who are looking will know the value of these, and in many cases enthusiasts will already have one.

you can get a really nice car for £15k these days.

You also need to compare it to cars of its time. The Coupe which is more powerful and arguable more popular, are advertised for ~£10k for the absolute best examples. I think I remember saying when this car was found you might be able to ask £10k but prices have slumped since then, and that was absolute best price.

You may be better to approach some museums given the condition of this car and the sort of money you are after.

It’s certainly top money for a gt but like the old guy from bangers n cash says find another .
I would be looking to get it stored somewhere inside if you don’t get any offers 👍🏻
Just saying, your GT in white is absolutely stunning (as is the red one for sale). I’ve seen a white GT around Cheltenham on occasion, and I always do a double take.

Thanks for the compliment👍🏻, I did see another white GT at the fiat and friends show and that’s the only white one I’ve seen in years , could be the same one .

Wish I had kept my totally original M2 GT alloys. Not a nick, original caps Lock bolts and lacquered finishing. Sold them for £800. Fukc knows this car needs them.

As the alloys and tyres can only be original once (the youngest Gt2 must be over twentythree years old by now, even if rebodied). This Gt lacks originality. Well kept. Not even close to a seven grand car. Stephen wonder could feel his way around this and feel the repairs. Might even had been send to the North of Eire and took back to UK on a flatbed and re-registered (a easy move until it was banned). But never know either

I wonder how many owners it has had?

I’m not being greedy, if you like them it’s worth every penny honestly it’s mint, it’s not really my cup of tea but I don’t think there is another as good in Europe.
I’m not wet behind the ears and not in any rush to sell that’s why it’s not advertised elsewhere not only that I would rather an enthusiast have it than boy racer, can’t stand tyre kickers.
Cheers John

…Car and Classic would be a good place to advertise this one. If I had the money lying around, I’d snap it up.

Wow, £15k for a punto, as said, a coupe turbo is nice and special looking, this just looks a an old small fiat.

Going by that valuation, i think I'll put my mint Calibra turbo up for £50k!!!

I bought this last year after owning two in the 2000s had a few unpleasant surprises but a year later on it’s had some welding done and now drives lovely
