Cheers mate Danny.

Danny he cant get you a price without the size of wheels you want and the size of rubber you want on them.

Re: Re: FOA Paul R

i think paul knows, ive been chatting to him for ages now just in case he has suddenly forgotten they are 17s with 205 40 rubber.

Re: Re: Re: FOA Paul R

Ok then i will try my best, if you can get them else where that cheap then my mate must be able to lower his price little git is getting greedy already (not you Danny, my mate)

Some times bigger companys can cut their prices because they have bigger buying power, but i promise to try my best.

So you want the Excites for £520 in crome with some decent tyres... Try my best and i will get back to you.

Do you mind if you state where you can get that deal from, only so my Mate can put in his books that the wheels will be discounted as a price match/beat.

Thanks

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: FOA Paul R

Right this is the best i could get him to do...

The tyres are still budget (nankan or something) but its with chrome finish and includes delievery..

I dont know if you price included the chrome finish or not?

Basically £500 is the best. Sorry, mate but i tried my best.

that includes the wheels/tyres/chrome finish and all bolts etc (fitting kit)

Let me know if you are interested...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: FOA Paul R

How about some compomotove MO 5 spokes, 16" in white. No boots.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: FOA Paul R

Out of curiosity Paul, do these alloys come with tyres fitted on the alloys, and balanced. Or are they separate? Alloy and tyre not fitted.

F**cking Bastards

sorry to tell you this mate im gonna have to cancel the wheels for the time being just went to my car after work and the passenger window was put thru and the door frame ****ed so as you can guess im not the happiest bunny. at only 19 with a 1.8 i cant afford to claim on the insurance so the alloy money i was gonna give to you now has to be spent hunting down a door and getting the window replaced. stupid bastards didnt even take anything apart from my headunit remote control and 2 cds good thing i park my back 1inch from the wall to make sure no1 can get into my boot then put the steering lock on so they have no chance so the subs are still intact and the headunit as i had the face so all in all they got away with about 20quid. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: F**cking Bastards

Bugger... At leat they didnt take much, Is it a case of waiting a month or more for you to save your pennys again!!

I know how you feel, i am 18 and drive a 1.8i... i wouldnt claim either...

But depending on where you live in the country i still maybe able to help you out!!
I work at a body shop on saturdays (not often, but enough to get discounts on everything), anyway, i am in Essex and i will be able to help out with the bodyshop costs...

Is the door itself damaged or the frame actually on the vechile, the door shut? If its just the door then it can be done alot cheaper than the later.

Anyway best of luck with it mate.

As far as i know , i am 99% sure that they come balanced and ready to fit...and i think the wheels are the ones pictured in the bigger photo? again, not 100% on this?!

Tom

I will try to get some prices for you tomo, do they have to be those wheels or can they be another make? i am not sure if my mate has an account with them, thats why i ask?

Re: Fao Joske & Tom

cheers paul mate im in bristol and its the black panel on the door by the window so its actually on the door they tried to pry it open then just smashed the window bastards. off work today to try and sort it now. my dad reckons the frame could be flatened back down by a panel beater or something.still im very pissed off.

Re: Fao Joske & Tom

Don't worry about it Paul, I'm not planning on moving away from steelies just yet.

Re: Re: Fao Joske & Tom

Hi Danny, Below is (i hope) a picture of my car. Which bit is actually damaged?

0400501621_001U.jpg

I dont know if this will work, basically do you mean the black part by my head(obviously if you can not see the picture then forget everything i am saying) Because that part can be hard to get straight again, your best bet is to try your best to get a gutted door from a breakers yard and then fit the new door with your parts! its quite straight forward, just remove the door card (like on bravo guide) then take one piece out at a time and transfer it over DONT try to strip the old door in one go,and then try to fit the new door up in one go!!

You will probably end up lossing screws/bolts and forgetting where they went.

If you end up needing something sprayed then dont go to the desk and ask a price... Go round the back in the yard (if you can get round) and ask a sprayer to do your door on a private job... you will save massive amounts of money if they will..

Some garages can be ok on the odd door, but if you are going to pay for some one else to do it, dont fully fit the new door, they are only going to strip it down again so all your efforts will be wasted...

I hope i have helped in some way, best of luck to you
