Hi i have a 2000 (W) reg Multipla JTD 105 now i have owned this of two years and all i have had is problems atm th main problem is that the floor is rotting/rusting away. Last year failed the mot because of the frame was rusted away had that sorted my friend is a welder and done that plus the rear wheel arch was mostly destroyed aswell. This year more Rusting and where the handbrake is was a BIG hole now we have just sorted that but there are other areas to weld and the front wheel arch. now my friend has said get rid of this car as it is rusting too fast the metal that my friend is putting on (computer case sides) are thicker that the metal that the car is made of.

What i want to know is this a common problem others have had and if it is worth fixing it totally (Ie: get some sheet metal and fully weld the floor inside and under)?

I've only seen one multipla with rust that was a diesel but most of the rust was under the bonnet and front end urchin is this some thing I and other multipla owners should be aware of and maybe have a look as mines gettin on now for 12 years old

Never take a multi to a scrap yard they break well easy and parts are well sort after and I've found they are the cheapest mpv to repair so if u do the job properly there won't be any more fix it again tomorrow lark
