I gave the Scala a very thorough clean a few weeks ago as she was due to go into the dealer for her last service before the new car service pack I bought for her expired. One thing I noticed was that the carpets took quite a bit of cleaning - Thank you Henry Hoover. - They came up well but as we have grandchildren who live in the country, and we ourselves getting in and out in muddy conditions when visiting them, it's going to degrade them over time. In the past I've always bought mats for the cars but they've been whatever universal fit type were available in the likes of Liddle/Aldi/wherever. This time I decided to buy "proper" custom fit jobbies. So, after quite a bit of climbing in and out of "rabbit holes" Man, there's a lot of companies making these! I went with this lot: https://newcarmats.co.uk/?srsltid=AfmBOooUsa8VqYuY38rXOFBdfkv0KJ9lQk0TaCfHfs5dshIi5os1nG5E and I must say they've been excellent. The carpets are very robust and fit perfect with the hold down fittings aligning perfectly with the studs in the floor. I'm delighted with them and am going to get a set for Becky if she passes her MOT after Christmas as her old universal fit ones are getting well worn.
