Floods

How is it where you are? Is there much water? Ellon's not too bad, a few houses near the river have flooded but no-one's had to be evacuated the way they have down in Stonehaven. The Ythan's about 4 times the size it usually is though and looking quite impressive

And this believe it or not is the local golf course. Apparently the water is 5 ft deep in places

We've been fine in fife to be honest. Thought it was going to be worse than it actually was. Atleast its not as bad as the floods back in november when we had the dundee meet, I remember that it was fun to get to you guys that day.

Ayrshire's not got floods (yet)

Seen a photo on FB that a friend on the South Coast of England posted, their local tesco Carpark is flooded, about half the car park's underwater.

Funnily enough I was planning on resurrecting this thread

Not a flood but I was out at Collieston today and the waves over the harbour wall were the highest I've seen them in a wee while and it wasn't even that breezy.

Photo time and as ever excuse the crappy camera phone quality. Not helped by the fact I was shaking too much with the cold to get a decent picture :laugh: Oh and the waves never obliged when I was ready to take a picture so these are pretty tame but they were proper crashing over the harbour wall

Beyond a few deep puddles, my area's been fine though it's never fun to be working outside when it's the way it is :/
