Tuning Flexipipe

hey guys, ive been told by my mechanic that my flexipipe on my exhaust system has got a couple of holes in it, im wondering is it possible to just swap the flexipipe with normal stainless or should i just replace with another flexi??

Years ago, I fitted a Janspeed system from the cat. back on my Cinq. That got rid of the flexi-pipe and replaced it with a fixed length.

So I can't see why it should be a problem.

But flexi-pipes are relatively cheap these days, so it won't cost a fortune to replace it with a new one.

ahh i see is there any noticable sound or performance change with a fixed piep as i dont wan my exhaust to sound any louder really

do not run an exhaust system WITHOUT a flexi.

they are pretty cheap most exhaust place can make one up for ya .

cheers ming is there any reason why i should run with one benifits or is it against MOT regulations not to?

is to allow movements for the exhaust, it will crack if there is no flex in the system!

On another note, how did you get 75 BHP with a blowing exhaust.
