Flashing rear light

I am looking for some advice to sort out a fault on my rear near side light cluster. Whilst indicating the other bulbs flash too, especially the rear light bulbs. Am I right in thinking this is an earth problem.

There was a blown bulb which I removed, replaced the bulb and applied Electrical cleaner to all the terminals at the rear. But it is still doing it. Any ideas how to fix this fault please as I have an MOT in May and this will cause a fail.

Yes Paul, it does sound like a bad earth. I'd double check the connections and failing that I usually just run an earth wire from the bulb holder to the body.
