I have brought a spoiler of a mk2 sporting after reading on here that it will fit my mk2b.it arived in the post today so I put it up against the boot to see how it looks, when the top of the spoiler is flush with the boot the ends sit lower that the boot, when the sides are flush thd centre sits to high, can some one post a pic of these areas? Not sure if this is right, feel it should sit flush all along?

I don't have a spoiler id just like to say maximum respect for having the balls to try and fit a spoiler to a 59 hp 8v beast hahahaha

Hi mate,

is it a genuine sporting spoiler? Or after market? It should sit level with the top line of the boot all the way along.

There is a little bit of flex in them, so how far out are we talking? Pics would be good.

Hi mate,

When you bond it to the car, you should be able to flex the spoiler up enough at the ends to take that amount of drop out. You need to use tape to hold it all in place and secure whilst it all goes off.
