Technical Fitting Heated seats to a SX Mk1 model

Hi

Ive been lucky enough to find some heated leather seats. So i need to get the wiring right in my SX Mk1.

I found the connectors well hidden under the carpet;


The Ground wires are connected but the positives are not.
After a lot of testing wires and looking at diagrams I found a sneaky 6pin connector with the other positive end on, but its not plugged into anything and i cant see the plug.



So does anyone know where this connector goes? Do I need a different main fuesbox that has this six pin plug?

I could just wire it into the sunroof circuit because the diagrams show it shares that fuse, or i could swap the sunroof positive with the seat positive. Id rather do it factory though.

Might be aircon related the only picture i could find of the block was this one. BV is the heated seat positive.

It shares the cigarette lighter on the mk2 brava. so could wire it into that?

Ive got a haynes manual if your after a particular diagram then i can scan it for you in the morning. Its quite a thick book.

theres no menchion of heated seats in the wiring digrams from what i can see. but it does have the cig lighter diagrams.

For now I swapped the sunroof positive pin with the heated seat positive pin. As I never use the sunroof. I will change it so both are wired when i get some parts from the scrap yard.

I tried out the drivers seat and its fantastic you can feel the ride more because the seats are so firm.

These are the wires I swapped. PLEASE do not blindly follow this! Test your wires and double check. I cant take responsibility for damage or fires. Ive added this picture so you know where to start.

It was hidden here infront of the metal support, coiled over on itslef and taped up in grey foam.

just seen your updated reply from 4 weeks ago.
I cant find any plugs,i whipped the carpet right up driverside first and i came across a black plug to which i got told are for seatbelt warning beeps etc.
Unless the heating plugs are right under the black foamy underlay stuff?

Ive got a P reg 1.4sx shell,Would it have come with heating loom do ya think? Even tho the e/m plugs were there.

If not,could i wire them to the seatbelt warning wires (i noticed that those wires are thinner).
