right then, i have the strip for inside the car and it looks like there is wiring there. also there is a wire running down the back of my bumper passenger side, would these be for the fogs?

yes it is you will also need front bumper with fogs of course and then to put the relay in
 
Some people said they never fitted a relay and it worked. Connect your switch panel, connect the foglight wiring loom to your loom near the front bumper, connect the foglights and test it.

If it dont work, check the fuses and check the light comes on the switch panel. If it still dont work you need a relay, but i think thats located behind the fuses on the drivers side. But im not 100% certain.

Ok joske cheers, i had a bit of a poke and prod today as i was doin other stuff, ther seeems to be an empty relay slot in a box infront of the battery

I think thats aircon and stuff. Do you have aircon?
