Hey, after someone thinking it was funny to quite literally boot my boot, i obviously had to replace it, and i've found and purchased a black sporting boot(wanted a spoiler, so when i found a boot with a spoiler it was a no brainer to just buy it in the right colour and already fitted.).

My question is, how easy is a boot to fit(mk2), i had a look quickly and couldn't see anything that would cause too much hassle, can anyone confirm it's about as easy as fitting a bumper etc.

Also is the colour of a mk2 sporting black punto the same as the standard black? I'm sure it is i could just do with reassuring.

Regards

All i can say is, DIRTY BASTARD !

If someone did that to my mk2 they would'nt get back up...good luck in trying to fit it though.

you wanna watch the wiring loom, thats the fiddly bit when your fitting it, tape the end wires to a metal coat hanger n feed them through once you've bolted the new lid on. dont forget to put some masking tape in the edge of the roof where the boot meets or you'll prob take a chunk of paint off too! should take about an hour start to finish if your methodical about it(y)
