First Fiat, First Problem

Hallo guys,
Just bought Fiat 1.2 ELX 5D 2002. I found something strange about the indicator turning sign lamp on dashboard. When I turn right or left and activate the turning sign lamp, the indicator showing both left and right sign lamp are on, like if we press the hazard button. Is that normal? Thank for advice.

yes thats what its supposed to do.

Hi Beau,
I thought if I activate the right turning sign lamp, then the right indicator shall be on, the same way for the left.

Now if I activate the right turning sign lamp, then both indicator lamps are on. If I activate the left, both indicator are on as well.

thats how it should be, i have a mk2 punto too.

I used to have a MK2 Punto too, yes they only have one direction indicator lamp on the dash.... not useful but thats how it is

its not like you need that indicator anyway. up for right, down for left... simple as
there not called "Idiot lights" for no reason lol
