Had my 2007 Grande Punto Eleganza a few weeks now, had a few frustrating issues, some of which sorted (thanks to this forum) and some still unresolved!
* Broken breather pipe, had a horrible petrol/fumes smell in the cabin, relatively easy to resolve by cutting some hose to length from a local motor factors. Found out the problem/solution on here
* Blower motor works intermittently, this is a common problem so it seems. Haven't tackled this yet as my car has the climate control pack, which means most of the guides don't match up to what I see under the glove box/footwell.
* Flashing odometer, occasionally I notice that the odometer flashes. Something to do with canbus, but seems to go away and everything else works in the car so unsure whether to worry about it.
* Installed aux cable, tried an FM bluetooth transmitter, but the quality was terrible. So went for the aux cable, it didn't work initially (my car has the blue and me kit), however found the forum post that advised about using a silent mp3 file. However this resulted in me losing the bluetooth calling, so will have to splice in the aux cable to the existing wiring loom, not sure if I'll be bothered to do this!
* Terrible glare on windscreen from dash, not sure yet how to solve this, but when driving in bright sunlight the glare is terrible. I think its a combination of the angle of the windscreen, glossy dash and me being tall (if I slump in the seat its not as bad).
* Front passenger window open all the way after holding in the window button, the drivers side however does.
* Some of the ergonomics of the car are dire;
- Cup holders that don't have sufficient room to hold a cup
- Arm rest that gets in the way and can't be used when driving.
Other than the above I like the car, it looks smart and drives nicely. Although there are a few things I want to resolve, hopefully find some more answers on these forums!
