There we go then, breakdown number one!

Havent driven the car since yesterday, but even then she was juddering when pulling away. Thought something up with clutch cable possibly - today, went to pull her forward to clean and there is no clutch - just a loose pedal hitting the floor!

Looking like a shot clutch cable, but sod all I can do today and well fudge it! Kinda ****s up my weekend/week a bit!

Thats pretty good for you Martyn, that was a good few weeks of problem free motoring.

Should be a pretty simple issue to fix for you there though, hopefully you'll be back on the road in no time.

I believe its now been a month! I got the car the day of the Glasgow attacks, as I remember.

It 'should' be a pretty simple fix, but even finding the cause of the breakdown is causing problems. Im tired, meant to have an early start tomorrow and now am just stressed!

After lots of headscratching shes fixed again!

The clutch slave cylinder was shot. New one for 40 quid, didn't look a tricky fix but the bleeding took what seemed like forever. Car driving again, which is all good!

Did hope to get a good few photos for a how to, but sadly not possible due to lack of light when Andrew was putting the bits back together!

That certainly was a fun repair. Bleeding that clutch was a pain!

We had quite an audience at 1 point :p
