Bugger! only an hour left of my shift, pulled out of a give way junction on to a road where there are never any cars, as its only delivery/service vehicals past the point before the junction, and i happened to pull out infront of a bloody cop car. Completly my fault not paying attention but no harm was done.

The copper came up beside my van looked at it (our vans are wrecked) and said;

"nice dent in the side of your van"
"Yea i know, it wasnt me though"
"Thats a surprise"

What a cocky arsehole he was, i admit i should have been paying more attention but seriously there was no need for him to be a complete d**k

Anyway got given a £30 fine for failure to give way, joy.

I wouldn't recommend it,

I take it there was two cops in the car, so there will be a witness to you pulling out.

If there was only one cop then I'd fight it :lol:

don't think it was me, cars in the bodyshop getting locks and some dents removed!


but yeh don't take my advice (even ive stopped doing that)
just pay up and look at junctions. nothing much else u can do.

I dont mind the fine, i own up to it that i was not paying attention, but the way he spoke to me like a little child made my blood boil, any experience i have had with the police has always been with them having this crap attitude, bunch of T****RS!

It really depends what cops pull you over, they aint all bad guys - my mate got pulled cause his phone was flashing on his dash and they warned him for "Displaying a flashing blue light on a non-police vehicle"....

But then i got pulled a while back for doin 55 in a 30 zone (i shall point out it was 1 in the morning on an open road) and the cops had a chat with me and let me go with a warning - very nice guys lol....

Thats exactly it - most cops are ok - most of the time, as long as your not acting like a complete nob and don't give them grief. Everytime I've been stopped they've always been ok, I got stopped for a brake light out on the way home from crail last year and apart from taking 30 minutes to write my ticket (damn noobs!) and slagging the car, they were actually ok! On second thoughts, Im not so sure they were that nice after all :lol:

But then some maybe aren't as friendly if they got out of the wrong side of bed that day etc, not much that can be done then. Pot luck!
