This may sound kind of daft but I'm wanting to sell a set of car seats on Ebay and I'm not sure how to find the weight of them.

I have a set of bathroom scales which I'm not to sure about the accuracy of (they say 1 seat ways about 1.2 stone = 7kgs that sound right?)

Is there anywhere you can go just to weigh things? Post office perhaps?

Also should I sell the seats together or split them into 2 auctions?

Size might be a more limiting factor depending on the carrier (having sold stuff all over the world on eBay and as a secondhand parts supplier myself) so you might find you'll be using Parcelforce (for example) as the PO might not deliver larger stuff - if I'm teaching you to suck eggs.... sorry

Bathroom scales should be fine for giving you a rough guide and I think you're pretty close to the right weight. I've used this site http://www.onlineconversion.com/weight_common.htm to give me rough all up weights before. Remember, if you overcharge a wee bit on postage costs your 'handling' costs are included in your eBay P&P costs.........

Yeah I was thinking Parcel Force for the delivery but just going to the PO to get it weighed. I think the scales are about right could always try testiing them with tins from the cupboard but I'm not sure how much that would help.

I think best bet is just to add on a bob or two like you said and be done with it.
