General Finding info on Uno only from VIN-number?

Hi all..

Usually I'm to be found in the Seicento-part off this great forum, but I have found myself an Uno T I just need to buy. A mk1 from -87.

I'm told that it was imported to Denmark from Switzerland some years ago, but has been without plates for some time now, don't know how long. The footwells are allmost rustet away, and the turbo needs changing. But the shell and the inside looks great for its age. The engine sounds OK, and is supposed to have been renovated about 3 years ago.
The road from the current state to a beautiful car, is no problem, as I can repair all of it myself.

But.. I would really like to have some history on this little piece.
My question is, can I find any info anywhere on the VIN-number? Or any other number found on the car?

well these uno tend to rust allot and the rust is where you cant see it (usually) but if you see you like the car and its in good spec go for it.
about the turbo that's a common problem I have had to change mine too.
The vin number is on a metal plate on the body on the engine . As soon as you open the bonnet you should see it straight away.
the vin number does have allot of info about the car on the internet you should see the info.
put some pictures up about the car.
