Hi all,

Join the forum a few weeks ago, however only had my car 2 days and it went back to the dealers:cry:. but after two different Garage visits and a variety of new parts my GP 1.3 JTD is back on the road.

looking forward to some enjoyable road trips and as she's a standard car at present can't wait to put the personal touches in.

maybe I'm missing something but I've uploaded pictures to the "GALLERY" but can't use the links to post here????

What was wrong! where do I start........
I picked up the car on a Monday, on Tuesday morning going to work I had a series of pinging alarms and the console went up like a Christmas tree.
ABS failure, EBD Failure etc.. basically the alternator was shot so the dealer had it replaced along with a new battery. I then pick it up again and on the way down the motorway the engine just dies, drops to about 60 in 6th gear and no revs so I start dropping down the gears but still no revs; so I get off at the next junction turn her around and she trundles at about 40-45 all the way back. So the Diesel expert says new Turbo, this gets done but in the process they broke the engine cover :)thumbd:) then they send it back to dealer and he tells me that she runs fine but no boost, so they then send her to the FIAT garage who replace the broken pressure sensor, and re-fit all the vacuum pipes etc that had been incorrectly fitted.....phew all in all cost the dealer about £16-1700 (I have the invoices) but he is taking a complaint back to the Diesel specialist (PB Asher's)
