Fiat500 boot issues

Hi folks,new here in searchingvgor a solution to my fiat 500 pop boot not opening..Ten minutes if reading ftom those more knowledgable about fiat's than myself,found problem,read it up pulled grommet from hatch and discovered the mass of burnt and broken wires,cut,cleaned and rejoined,checked with multimeter and re fixed with fireproof soft lagging to prevent it reoccurring and all is perfectxagain saving me the 650 euros the Fiat garage wanted,all good..Thank you to those forum members who wrote so eloquently and saved me a fortune your knowledge has been shared and you are all stars!. Merci beaucoup..Most appreciated!
