Technical Fiat Uno Wipers Blade/Motor

I have had my fiat uno 45 fire for about 6 months now and it has been fairly hassle free. This week when i came to use my wipers they didnt work Can anyone let me know what the problem could be. The wipers come on now and again but then other times they dont even start.

start out easy, have you checked the connections all the way through from switch to motor? all of mine had problems at one point or another with something coming slightly adrift.

i have checked all connections today and they all seem fine. There dont seen to be a problem with the motor because when the wiper decides to start it doesnt move slow. Could there be a wire/connector i missed or could it be the motor. i have also though about the possiblity of it being the switch. cant seen to find the problem.

Disassemble the switch and clean it. When this happened to me, the copper trace inside the switch was buried in molten plastic. Cleaning the sod helped.
