Technical Fiat uno turbo original.Need Help .

Hi all I have a Fiat uno turbo ie that is wonderful , Drives well , looks good , and has no problems to worry about. The only help I need is for the steering and rust . The steering, I would like to put it lighter meighbe by putting a power steering motor or a complete column from a different fiat I need help on that please. I need help aswell on rust , I have been told that uno's rust allot on jacking points, behind bumpers and on the door sill. I have found the door sill's for sale but need help on where to find jacking points for sale or how to make them , and I need help aswell on what to do behind the bumpers .
I don't know if I should by the metal behind the bumpers or treat it with rust treatment . please help ! here is a picture of the baby .

Firstly well done and your uno looks great in a very nice colour, also thy rust big time I had 3 uno's all mk1's
1 x f reg uno turbo
2 x e reg 1.0 fire's unfortunately the latter 2 went to the scrapyard in the sky because of bad rust , in my experience the rust under all of the plastic trim bottom of the doors and sun frames, also dont know why you would want power steering there light as anything but nice idea, hope this has helped and please keep posted on future mods if any

If it was me I would change the rusty parts if they are bad bad, it's cheap enough to source parts for an uno, under the plastic body kit I would repair,I would also use a power steering motor does the same job and can't help with the jacking points sorry mate
