Technical Fiat Uno Turbo IE 1.3 ...fuel usage

Hello 2 all,
I live in Romania and i have a Fiat Uno Turbo IE 1.3 and i want to know how is the usual "usage fuel" for this car.
Fuel usage at my car is 13-14 L / 100KM i think its big.
Please who know the usage fuel to tell me.

depends on how you drive, on the 1400 turbo when your not boosting you can get 14km per litre which can go down to 4 or 5 km per litre. on my 1100 when i'm driving the s#it out of it i get 8-9 km per litre.

35mpg = 8.06L/100km out of my Uno Turbo, and that's with some pretty fast driving on a return trip of about 200km.

I'm thrilled with the fuel consumption of my Uno Turbo, because my Uno 60 used to manage 36mpg years ago, with only a fraction of the performance of the Uno Turbo.

Sorry i don't drive an uno.. but i just noticed what you put there about fuel consumption on the turbo. My Turbo cinq seems to use less fuel on the same journey than my N/A 1108 cinq.. thats with reg periods on boost as well

35mpg = 35 miles per one UK gallon.
1 mile = 1680 m
1 UK gallon = 4,7 l. Do not confuse with US gallon, which is 3,8 l.
Fuel consumption is quoted in mpg in UK and US instead of in litres/100 km as we know it in Europe. Higher mpg value means lower value of litres/100 km.

However, back to your question. From what I gathered in local forum, if you drive with high revs and in a "sporting" manner, you can easily reach even more than 14 litres.

BTW, I seem to remember that at the gas stations in UK the gas taken is measured in litres, which makes me wonder why the consumption is measured in mpg .

Because of the interference of the European union in to how we sell/buy anything, we have to sell in litres whereas before the EU we sold in gallons*
