General FIAT UNO 1993 Doors....

Just got a reply from a FIAT Dealer that they no longer supply Passenger Doors for FIAT Uno's......is this a joke?

Apparently the Driver's door is still available.....

If this is not a joke does anyone know where I can buy a passenger door from? and a passenger side front wing.....

I think it's nearer 10 years, though it depends on what parts. I'm fairly sure mechanical parts have to be available for longer than interior trim for example, which might only be available for as little as 5 years after the vehicle was discontinued. The newest Unos are now approx. 15 years old or older and are getting rare on the roads so there just isn't the market for them

Keep an eye on Ebay as I've seen new doors crop up on there (both 3 and 5 door models). Failing that companies like BeaversAutoPanels supply repair sections for the doors.

Oh, and at least your car is recognised by Fiat. Both my Uno chassis numbers don't even come up on Eper (the electronic parts catalogue used by Fiat), which also doesn't hold information on mk1 Unos except for one called the Uno CS

And just to make it worse, 2nd hand rust free Uno doors are like rocking horse poo...

...that's presuming the original poster is in England and not South Africa, where the newest Unos are approx. five years old Actually even newer (current model) if you count the bi-fuel Uno relaunched in South Africa last year.

Is it possible to get replacement doors from South Africa...? I don't know. But I'm going there next week...!

When they stop making Uno's in Italy? Panda's were in 2003, so they're doors are available new (at over £200 primed ).

See about if they're available in Italy (sometimes a different part number) and import them through Fiat UK (give them Italian part number)
