I have a fiat ulysse 2.0s 7 seater,1998 reg,the problem is that it keeps cutting out and the rev counter is all over the place, someone suggested it could be the lambda sensor, anyone know where to find it on my car?:D

This may help, it may not, but worth checking.....:D

The problem sounds similar to a problem we had with our Ulysse for the last few months, that finally got fixed by M & M Autos, Iver Heath, ( sorry but a bit of free advertising for a garage I can't thanks enough :slayer: ).

The engine used to try to cut out, jolt about etc, and the fault turned out to be a poor connection of the ecu earthing wire / lead. Bolts had been re-fitted in wrong order and so wire progressively came lose.

Check security of all connections and earthing leads especially those going to / from the engine and / or gearbox.

You never know, these checks may help......

My v reg 2.0s did that for 2 days and has now died, ecu fault, hopefully just a dirty terminal but doubtful. If you sort it let me know how please.
