fiat trouble

Hi, ive just noticed a water leak on my fiat punto 1999 its coming from the gear box that i can tell anyways would anyone have and ideas what this could be please help

Perhaps the leak is elsewhere and just dripping off the gearbox case... no water required (or wanted) inside the gearbox!

If it's not much..could it be a normal dribble from the air conditioner.
I'm just off for a drive in my new (05) Fiat. I'll check back later.

Is the car running normally?
Any warning lights on the display?
