hi ,I am new to this but here goes... I have a fiat scudo combi sx 1997 jtd. the clutch and dmf have packed in so I have put it into a local garage to be repaired. at first I thought it was going to get a solid flywheel and clutch fitted. I was happy at that as I was saving £££ on the flywheel. then I was told because of the engine model I would need the dual mass flywheel, at a good bit more money. I told them to go ahead then I learned because my engine code is RHM/RHW.the only place I can get this dmf and clutch kit is from the main dealer and it is a fortune. please could someone point me in the right direction. is this the case or is there someway round this where I can get the parts without going to the main dealer
all help would be welcomed thanks borderer

Tell them to try Euro, if they don't do one no one does. That said, fit a solid flywheel at your peril - it usually ends up with a broken crank. They don't fit them for nothing.

hi again, would just like to post this as it might help others. got my dmf and clutch finally fixed. and want to warn anyone with 1997 jtd scudosx combi 2004 with engine code RHW/RHM.dmf are not available from any retail outlet other than fiat themselves. luk are the only people who make it for that engine code and only supply fiat at considerable ££££. the good new is that Peugeot 407 1997 cc derv is the same flywheel and bought from Peugeot is approx. £150.00 cheaper than the fiat one.this took me four days of looking begging to finally get put in the right direction. would like to also tell anyone with same problem as myself if you replace dmf and clutch replacy the thrust fork also. I had to have gearbox taken back out after 1-2 miles as the fork packed in. im now back in business but at a cost and a very sore head ...
