Petrol? Diesel? Does it turn over?
need more info please
Check for spark and fuel past the injector (assuming petrol!).
If neither, TDC sensor.
If neither, TDC sensor.
The car is on petrol ,
After a hour of so of driving after shutting down the engine, the motor wont
ignite .
Electricity OK but no start only a strange noise for a second or two and thats it .
After several hours and sometime after few days the motor will start again .
what could it be ?

As I say, either an earth fault -- pull off all the earths (and the battery contacts) clean them all, grease with petroleum jelly, bolt back up again, or the TDC sensor (check for spark and fuel pasty the injector).
Both are very, very, common faults.
