fiat engines and gearboxes

Hello, we have race car made from Uno 1.1 Fire and we want more power, and 1.1 is too small to get enough power. In our country big Fire engines and big Unos are quite rare, but used bravas/bravos and puntos are popular and also cheap. So, it is possible put together gearbox behind Fire engine, and newer engine from brava/bravo?

Or which fiat engines and gearboxes coud fit togehter?

Punto 1.2 16v and 8v engines use the old C514 box (as does the Panda). Also, the 1.4 8v and 16v engines. No idea about the Bravo/Brava engine range. Think Stilo/Idea. But the 1.6 engines and bigger use a different gearbox altogether.

Turbos not allowed in our class, sorry .

Does older sohc "128" engine have different gearbox? I mean engine from tempra.

As far as I know, yes. Many, many, years since I saw one.

Some stuff here suggesting that Ritmo 130 box and 128 box (and etc.) are interchangeable.
