Technical Fiat Ducato motor 280 1.9 td 1993

hello i have a fiat ducato 10 1.9 td from 1993 and i have few problems with my gearbox, and i can´t find the code off the gearbox.... the motor code is 280a01.00 from fiat they said some like gearbox c504.5.20.22 and the vin code is zfa29000000333290, and on the 5 gear cover have the number 960713410, iff some one can help me, be grateful ... i am desperate

hi krotos. if its gear selection problems your having as you don't state what ?? if you go into history there should be loads of info. one solution is change oil to a heavier spec something like EP90--120

tanks jontee61, the probem is not the gear selection but, a noise from the gearbox bearings, or attack pines, on 4 and 5 gear this rum rum noise is louder....and i can´t find the code for the gearbox, and i can´t find any that fitting on that...maybe some one know some that fitting there...

suggest you try axel-augustine.de go to categories then select fiat professional follow list to mk1 1.9td full sets of gearbox bearings available from 99euros each.

Hi am trying to get the code off the gearbox, I tink is a 2he61,but I don't know because I can't find any code on gearbox... And iff someone know one model that fitting on my motor also help...

Hi.
I'm trying to find info for changing the timing belt on the following engine. Fitted to a 1993 Motorhome.
VIN: ZFA29000000320888
Engine no. 280A10001170705
1929 cc 60kW
Yes it is SLOW

I have looked at the download section but can not find anything that seems to be for this motor.
Can anyone provide any clues?
