Technical Fiat Ducato 2007 injector problems

Hello new here I have a fiat Ducato 120 2.3 2007 box van and it sounds like a tractor blowing out air on the injector need help I was told it was a copper seal can anyone help me

Welcome at FiatForum.

It's indeed a copper seal, available at any Fiat/Iveco/Alfa/Lancia dealer.
Getting the injector out can be a pain.
Soak it with carburetor(!) spray for some time, to disolve the carbon and gunk that keeping it stuck might help.

Thanks ok only thing is I phone dealership and they said that model don’t have copper seals so that’s why I’m confused lol and where does it go can you show me any pictures please

Well Have a look at ePER on top of this page. ( Fiat's part program)
All injectors should have some sort of gasket, I'm not familiar with the 2,3 engine, but the 1,9 and 2,4 engines do have this copper seal.

2.3 has a tapered seat no washer, if it's blowing past the injector the you may have to get the seat reamed at an engine overhaul place. If you are very lucky and it's just happened then retiring the injector clamp.might solve it.

Hi number 6 is rubber grommet to prevent water not going down injector it don’t stop any gases and unfortunately they don’t stop water early Ducatos famous for scuttle panels leaking water over everything fiat used cone injectors up to 2014 we have loads trouble sealing them after roadtest if you spray fluid over injector you’ll see gas bubbles Iv known reaming tool to make seal worse check end of injector if really rusty big trouble use new clamp ,,bolt and washer and lot of luck don’t want to curse your job I feel your pain good luck
