Hi all , I’m currently stuck and having trouble finding a mechanic that has the ability to connect to my cars OBD point. I have tried 10 plus mechanics and no one seems to have the right end to connect ? I have attached the photo hoping someone knows exactly what end this is so I can purchase or if anyone knows of a mechanic in the south west of France it would be greatly appreciated! The cars injector light on the dash is permanently on and enters limp mode if driving is attempted. Thanks in advance

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Have you found the right connector?

The shape of the connector in your photo is squarer than I would have expected, also my understanding is that only two pins are used. Here is a link to a page on Ebay (UK) which shows what I think would be a standard adaptor for the x230 Ducato models with common rail (jtd) engine. One of the photos on the advertisement shows the connection details.
Also in UK the company "Gendan" has a good reputation for advice and supply of code reading equipment. The have been mentioned on this forum several times.

If making further searches online, specify year 2001, as this would eliminate any confusion with the x244 model which was introduced in 2002.
