Technical Fiat dealer can't find the reverse switch on my Abarth :(

Hi All,

I have just returned from my local fiat dealer, after getting some repairs done (new tyre, alternator belt, and replacement reverse switch).

When I picked up the car I was duly informed by the "experts" that they could not find the reverse switch!! :bang: They are now waiting on a call from fiat technical to find out where it is. Don't know how long I will have to wait for an answer but I was wondering if someone here could help? I have seen posts related to the JTD but not to my car.

I have a 03 stilo abarth selespeed. Anyone know where I might find this particular switch to get my reverse light working again

from memory is underneath engine mount, not a easy job.

Its an awkward little bugger, I have a special socket just for this job. Its below and behind the gearbox mounting and book time to change it is 1.5 hours.

is this to switch the reverse lights on?

i assume so. i tried the trick of switching my front wipers on, then changing to reverse. the rear window screen wiper did not switch on.
