Technical Fiat 500 Dualogic Stuck In Reverse

Hi All,

Really hope someone can help.

2009 Fiat 500 Dualogic

We had a oil leak on the actuator which looks like it was coming from a failed seal. I replace these parts and the oil leak has stopped.

Transmission fluid has been topped up to the correct level.

But now the car will not get into the right gear. Whatever gear is selected (apart from neutral) it will indicate as being in 2nd. But when I check the wheels, the car is actually in reverse. Can anyone provide any advice that could help me sort it as I am now stuck and have run out of knowledge

Hi - if you've Multiecuscan software then try running a "Production/service final calibration" which may unstick it if it has got stuck or confused. It's worked for me in this situation before. Also useful to see if any errors are present.
