i know there's a thread about this, but it doesn't answer my question and it's buried so i thought i'd post at the top here...

i changed the pads on my brakes for my '78 fiat spider...

after much effort (then the right tool), i FINALLY GOT THE DAMN REAR PISTONS IN. And I know that the brakes are working, but not sure if it's JUST the front working, or the back as well.

What makes me question is that now my e-brake isn't working. Like, not at all.... I climbed under the car and adjusted the tension to about as high as I could (way more then where it was at before I started the brake job.)

Any tips?

If i remember on these, you have to reset the Pall on the leverarm on the rear brake. Then set the handbrake lever to 2 clicks, and adjust the tension.
The forums to ask about 124's are these

hey guys, thanks for the help. i had to take it to a pro; the calipers were bad and rear brake lines needed to be swapped out.

brakes are all good now!
