What would be better for normal road use...
Ferodo DS25000 or Ferodo DS Performance?
Front brakes on the 1.2 are being overhauled to 1.8 calipers. I have oem spec discs on their way (vented discs) as I didn't want drilled or grooved. Drilled discs seem to crack and grooved doesn't make sense to me as surface stopping area is reduced.
My thinking is that if I want a chance of better than oem 1.8 braking, then perhaps a decent pad might assist.
Ultimately I drive like a Grandad so I'm not looking to stop on a 1p coin but would like the assurance that there is some stopping power available if its needed.
IIRC, Ferodo pads are highly recommended so I'm just trying to work out which pad is worth shelling out on.
