ok after having been slated so bad by what seems to be everyone for wanting to do this.

although those that have done this says it sounds good?

does anyone have a video or a sound clip of a dumpvalve on a diesel.

and if it gives no loss or gain to the engine, just a ptsht sound then why is it such a bad idea??

(mainly aimed at Joske as i understand he made a video of it??)

A mate of mine has a BOV on his Seat Ibiza TDi (not Smee ;)) and it just sounds like its sneezing, sounds nothing like the petrol turbo BOV's sound like.

The dump valve isn't a bad idea. It just technically doesn't give performance gains like on a petrol. If anything i would say the pickup is better.

No video of my dump valve, but if your local im happy enough to let you hear it.

The derv doctor 306 dump valve video sounds the same as mine.
