as me and mum aint speaking i have taken the ps2 out the lounge (which she plays all the time) and its going in my car.

i know how im gonna connect it up etc but im a little bit scared of my inverter.

My inverter
600watt Soft Start with 1500watt peak. (does this mean its a 600watt inverter but say u had a power surge it can handle 1500 watt for a small amount of time)

how do i find out wat watts i need to run my pc tft? back says 100-240v 0.9A (dunno wat it means i totally forgotton physics)

a slim line ps2 to run off the inverter (unsure on the rating)

and my pc i think its a 450watt inverter

i think the formula is Power = volts x current

so does that make my forumla 240 volts x 0.9 amps?? = 216watts?

seems a lot

and based on that my pc would be pulled 1.9 amps

As for the ps2 you should have no problem powering that, im powering mine off a mini 100w inverter!

i take it your inverter has the dual sockets if you are powering a monitor too? If you are thinking about keeping it in the car just buy a cheap in car 12v tft, they dont cost much mate and mine has been ace so far.
