Have you got a punto gearbox in your bravo?
My gearbox has gone and a punto one is the only one i can get. My bravo is a 1.2 16v

In case Ian doesn't reply to this in time mate - yes Ian has a punto gearbox in, I reccomended to him the place that fitted it, only problems are that it is of a shorter ratio than that from a bravo and one of the three fixing bolt holes does not line up when fitting.

The fact that one of the bolts will not line up, will it cause any future problems? Will the drivability change in any way??

From what Punto is Ian's box from?. 16v or 8v model

I think I remember him saying that its from a Mark 1 punto 60sx, this being a 1.2 8v Single Point Injection.

Dan that's correct.

1.2 8V Spi Engine has the correct box.

The 1.2 8v mpi (75sx), 1.2 16V and 1.1 8v (55s & sx) I've no idea.
I doubt the 16V engine box would fit beacuse it's a fire engine? and the 1.1 55S I'd suggest has far too short gear ratio's.

There is approximately 9/10 bolt holes in the box. Only 8 of them line up. The odd one which doesn't does not have a hole in the sump for the bolt to go into. Simple as.

as long as the othre bolts are tightly screwed in, then there shouldn't be a problem.
Like I said. I've had 8,000 trouble free miles with no leakage of gearbox oil. I think my problem is sorted
