After seeing your pic on the other thread you look 20ish?...

you've mentioned Warrington in your posts, just wondered if you go in Warrington on nights out, smiths etc

Sorry for crashing your post, i think he's 18, just curious as to whether you ask cos you local to warrington, as i am from Wigan-ish area! if your near.

Mike

Re: Re: FAO: Ian (Geforce)

And me - round the corner from Mike

yeah no worries...

its good to know who lives near you, after reading that tafi and daz live near eachother especially...

yeah i'm from lymm, 5 miles from warrington, but am at uni in uni time, holidays etc i'm back home.

black bravo 1.2 Y reg, alloys, abarth skirts
(head turner) i'm not just saying that, but driving about you do notice, i'm sure we all get that, down to driving such a beautiful car...

what car have you got, are you often seen in smiths??

Re: yeah no worries...

that bit wasn't very clear, i'm at uni in stafford, but yeah warrington when i'm home

Re: Re: yeah no worries...

I dont usually do warrington as its a pain to get back from. We're just down the motorway at Haydock Island but have yet to meet up

Re: Re: yeah no worries...

W reg1.2sx Ink Black -Gorgeous IMO- 17" Alloys Front DTM splitter, recently purchased the full indy kit soon to be fitted an blended/sprayed etc. PiperX kit. Still only a shadow off my fellow Wimmy's Star car. But nether the less mine will shine through one day. lol

MIke

mad...

all 3 of us 1.2 owners then
(do you get where people are surprised that when they are in your car and ask what litre engine it is, you say 1.2)?

cos i get that all the time - makes you feel even better about the car.

what 17's you got Mike?

i'm prob gonna get some new wheels - looking at TSW Reflex's, but don't want to ruin the ride, what's it like on the 17's in your opinion.

Yeah Wimmy's car is spot on

Re: mad...

To be honest i dont know what 17" they r, they r 5 spoke slightly tapered from the centre outwards, look really good tho, ill have post a pic, cos i haven't seen any like them b4. yeah were all 1.2 owners. People used to think it was a bigger engine til recently, as as a poll result from this forum, i reckon my air filter needs a clean as them p155in vespa's are beating my ass at the lights. lol

Mike

Any further Q's dont hesitate to ask

Re: Re: mad...

yeah a pic would be cool, especially to see your front splitter on there and how your car sits on the 17's without it being lowered like most others

what air filter is it that you've got and would you recommend getting one? i used to have an R reg corolla, 1.3 with an air filter sounded beautiful, have missed the roar from it so have been thinking about getting one.

are you going to the meet - never been to one but might go to this one, i presume wimmy will be going.

Re: Re: Re: mad...

The ride is a bit rough, i feel i can cornerlike a rally driver but you do tend to feel little snags in the road really exaggerated, ie. cats eyes on motorways, you learn to avoid going over them as it feels ur have a set of flats. looks the bizz tho. i suppose its just down to taste. (are you willing to sacrifice comfort an slightly average cornering/grip for a slight discomfort/looks/ and considerably better grip, IMO. BTW my car hasn't been lowered.but presumably lowering would make this sensation a whole lot worse. PiperX induction kit- i got from a fellow forum member, originally from a saxo but fits all the same, sounds like a beast. no extra performance just extra sound. DOn't know whether ill b goin the meet as i ve said on another post, i think it clashes with my b'day when i go to amsterdam. If it doesn't tho, hopefully ill make it

Mike

cool

cheers for the replies. i'm not sure if i'm going but if i am and you and wimmy are, maybe we could all meet up and go down there.

will keep in touch through this forum

Re: cool

If you want to go the meet the North West members of BOO generaly meet up at Knutsford services and convoy down.
So far it's Wimmy, Sy, Ian (Geforce) and me Rab.
We meet up with Mr Al at Stoke-on-trent on the way.
Come with us it should be a good day.
You don't need to be a member just turn up and have a laugh.

Rab.:)

Re: Re: cool

Dan - I'm 18 mate, and I usually goto Liverpool for nights out as Warrington (Smiths) is full of underage teeny boppers who all just wanna fight (usually) lol.

I live just around the corner from Warrington, **** place called Widnes. hehe.

Where are you from matey?

Re: Re: Re: cool

Forget that, I just read your from Lymm, just the otherside of Warrington :) J7 On the M62 - I live right by it :)

I was tired this morning lol.

Yeah, I get asked all the time what engine is in my car, especially after chasing 1.8GTi golfs and 1.6 Honda Civics and keeping up! (well, as long as they have 3-4 people in them) And they're so suprised at what it is :)

Mine has a custom air intake and a de-cat exhaust system. Just makes it perform that little tiny bit better :)

Re: Re: Re: Re: cool

lol you're spot on about smiths Ian, i usually go out in manchester cos its only a tram away, but if its just a night out then we go warrington, lol, it's alright but yeah i know what you mean.

i know widness yeah, not very well but ive been there a few times.

cheers Rab, that sounds spot on, knutsford is one junction down from where i get on at Lymm.

I reckon as long as nothing comes up i'll be there, so i'll put a post up here about what time ou would be meeting at Knutsford.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: cool

LO all,

I'm not too far away from ya. I have a house in Atherton near Leigh...just off Junction 22 of the M6. I also work near Runcorn.

So if anyone ever wants to have a local meet up or a drag session up the East Lancs Road, just drop me a mail!

PS I drive an Ink Black 1.8HLX, Reg: N***KOU in case you see me about anywhere!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: cool

Didn't know you could have *'s in your registration.

My old 1.4 was P793GBA
My old 1.9 was P608SUG
My new 1.2 is T917XAN

lol, what's the point in hiding your reg, I don't get it?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: cool

Why advertise what your number plate is!?!

I chose to hide the numbers as there has recently been a rise in number plate theft....where number plates are being made up and placed on similar cars to avoid congestion charging cameras/specs cameras etc.

Obviously any1 who wants to could just do this while you're out on the road too, but why make it easy for some1 looking for a plate for a black Bravo by putting it on here!

Its the same with why people blank out number plates on pictures taken especially when other peoples cars appear in them as well!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: cool

Errr, you could just make ANY plate. Does it really matter what number it is?
