I remember you mentioning at one point you are on a placement year but with Staffordshire uni that right?

Didn't realise you lived in manchester too - where abouts, if you don't mind saying that is.

hi mate yeah that's right - i'm doing my degree at staffordshire uni - but am in my 3rd year on placement this year.

i'm about 15 mins from manchester - i live in a place called lymm - it's in cheshire, if you know manchester you'll know alty (altrincham) i live 2 mins down the road from alty - in leafy cheshire lol!

what about you? are you from mcr?

Yeah course I know lymm, stopped at services there quite a few times (lol know its not lymm itself but u get the idea). I'm near Rochdale when at home dunno if u'll know it.

So what course you on at staffs and which campus?

lymm services - poplar 2000 services yeah that's 2 mins from my house - tell you what mate - they do a mean all day full english up there!

i know rochdale yeah - just past bury! this year i'm working at Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service and a few people who i work with are from rochdale.

i'm doing multimedia computing at uni, it's alright, at the stafford campus - no where near as many women as there are at the stoke campus, so mostly go out in stoke when i go back

you go staffs yeah?

Ahh a computing student - probably hardest courses.

By contrast I am doing Business management - one of if not the easiest courses aka the dossers course (yup that'll be why I picked it!)

Yeah I'm at the Stafford campus too an don't even get me started about the women situation there (saying that things are lookin up for me on that front).

yeah - the computing had some really hard modules, i've never been a programmer, but in my first 2 years have had to do a lot of programming, it's alright though, passed all my modules and doing quite well so it's good.

i've got a few mates who do business, one of them is in his final year now - he has ONE hour a week now - it's ****ing stupid lol! he doesn't know what to do with himself its well funny!

ahh the staffordshire uni christmas - last year i had 5 weeks off including the study week before exams - you got exams in jan too?

Yeah seen most of your pics but nothing like seeing acctual rims on the car. Especially interested because I almost bought those rims for my bravo!

Yeah the business course doesn't have much contact time at all in fact I think next semester I only go in on a thursday for 4 or 6 hours (with breaks)!!! I could leave stafford thursday evening and come back wednesday evening!!! jus spend 1 night a week at uni. Not that I'm going to do that lol.

Nah I picked this course specifically cos it had little or no exams (I do much better in assignments etc) so no exams for me.
