Hi all,

just a quick question.
have any of you abarth spoiler owners just fixed yours on with tigerseal/sikaflex? I can't afford to get a bodyshop to drill my tailgate to get it on so I was wondering if that would be ok?
I assume there is a fair bit of contact between the spoiler and the top of the boot where there are already holes for the bolts?

Any help is greatly apreciated.

I have always screwed them down (2 now) but i work at a bodyshop!

If you are dead against paying the cash then my suggestion is....

Bond it on with sikaflex, then once dry drill through the back of the tailgate into the spoiler! then pop self tapper screws in...be carful not to go straight through though with the drill!

Or drill through first, then stick it, but if you do it that way it often never goes back to where you want it!

P.S. its ok to drop it now, you can fill it! its when you drop it after its sprayed that will make you cry! :)

I'm worried about drilling it though paul, unless your offering dude ;)
It didn't come with self tappers either, it came predrilled with these sort of bolts with no head on them, just like a threaded bit of rod. doesnt seem like they'd do much :s
