Hi, I have a 52 plate Stilo Abarth and recently the engine fan come on after a short drive and didn't go off, thus draining my battery. After charging the battery and leaving it a couple of days the problem didn't come back when I put the battery back in. However after driving the car less than a mile the fan is once again going mad for no reason. As a quick solution I removed the fuse and the problem has gone. Now for a new problem. The car is constantly beeping even when the ignition is off and car is locked this happened even when the fan fuse was in. When I turned the ignition on the relay on the far bottom right of the fuse box next to the battery was clicking like mad. Any ideas whats going on?

Had a similar problem on my Stilo and it turned out the fusebox and it's connectors were corroded.

Check the relays and fuses, if they're corroded, the fusebox will need to be changed.

Hope that helps :)

changed the relay and problem is still there, wen relay is removed the engine won't start but the electrics are working.

it doesn't cut out cuz over and hour or two has passed and its still coming on for couple of mins at a time will check cut out switch thoe. also it means goin to a garage that will deal with it and the local fiat down the road seem like idiots.
