Re: Untitled

without giving the car a respray id say you need a damn good cleaning sesh

give the car a t-cut after washing and see how much closer it is, repeat as necessary. can also give the car a colour restorer, think auto glym have one. personally id t-cut, check, then colour restorer, then polish and wax once its better

there are just some people that screw you up and dont give a damn, unfortunately i seem to have found that one!!!

Try some G3 or G4, cant remember which, but its a cutting compound like T-Cut but a bit more aggressive. Wont damage the paint but will make the job easier for you, then finish with a wax. Most motor factors should stock it in a small tube which is all you should need.

Find a professional detailer in your area (Detailingworld.com)

They can use their experience and expertise, along with some trick products and gear, to restore your paint back to its factory appearance.

Or just use the site to gather some information and do it yourself.

T-Cut is not recommended. There are much better products on the market, made by people in lab-coats specifically for modern paint.

None of this grandad-formula stuff.

Nothing wrong with t-cut :) Some people are just too dumb to use it correctly.

T-cut is a simple cutting compound just like G3/G10 but its very mild and designed to be done by hand.

Anyway, red fades under UV, fact of life. The only way you will be able to restore its colour is to respray it. No amount of t-cut or G3 or anything will restore the colour to its original shade.

Personally I'd be yelling at the morons who sprayed and fitted your kit and asking why they didn't bother to colour match it.

how about this half/half shot of a pink Vectra wing?
