Well atleast with them sending out a claim form they are pretending they care and are going to do something about it perhaps I should find a nice sized pot hole and try to claim back my antiroll bar haha
Daryn on here, got a claim against the glasgow council no problem. His claim included a new front wishbone and a new wheel from fiat. So there is hope!
With all this in mind, how long do the council have from receiving notification of a road defect to dealing with it?
I ask, as anyone driving IN to Aberdeen past the Shell at the end of the Beach Boulevard will know that King Street has pretty much dissapeared. It was reported on 10th March (ie a month ago) and last time I was through the southbound carriageway was still as bad?
Surely after that length of time they'd be liable for pretty much all claims?
Hope they pay out soon as, it's ridiculous to leave potholes like that - even just a temporary patch would've sufficed. Of course, saying that they break up and create nice amounts of tarmac stones to be thrown on to unsuspecting motorists windscreens :veryangry2:
My experience of Glasgow/Paisley area is it's not too bad in most places. It's the residential areas that are the worst though - tonnes of really deep potholes, many 3 inches or more ripe to ruin peoples suspension and wheels. There are a few sections on main roads though where people have to take avoiding action though, which is just crazy. I can imagine a few people having serious accidents trying to miss a pothole
